Kent Overstreet appears to have gone off the deep end.
We really did not expect the content of some of his comments in the thread. He says the bot is a sentient being:

So please don’t do that :)

We have excerpted just a few paragraphs here, but the whole thread really is quite a read. On Hacker News, a comment asked:

He’s definitely a nerd. He’s a very competent guy, no random wannabe would be able to make what he did with bcacheFS (and apparently extremely boastful about it?), he’s just very weird. Also he’s an open source dev, I doubt he’s trying to gain money from all this. Again, just a weird guy imo
