MyInsta hasn’t worked for me in months. It was last updated in August 2024. The maintainer said he would fix it months ago on r3dd1t but no dice. I don’t think it’s coming back.

I recommend switching to Pixelfed. I mostly use IG just for chatting with people.

Make it easy to change the font sizes, etc.

I setup an Ubuntu/Gnome laptop for an older person. When they asked me to make everything bigger, it took me like 20 minutes for a half-assed solution.

That’s part of the reason I switched to Debian/Plasma, although I haven’t replicated this experiment yet…

TBH I feel like many IT people are employed because they’re “microsoft certified”, not because they know anything about linux. This kind of gatekeeping is a big part of why windows is so entrenched.

How are communism and fascism the same? What definitions are you using?

AFAIK communism advocates for a stateless, classless, moneyless society, while fascism advocates for imperial nationalism and the violent class hierarchies of capitalism, racism, misogyny, xenophobia, etc.

They seem much more like opposites under the standard definitions. I don’t understand doublespeak.
