mostly weird libertarians and crypto bros plus random porn bots
Maybe yeah. In fact, the only video I’ve ever watched on LBRY is from a YouTuber named Mental Outlaw

How about LBRY? Do you think it’s a sane alternative to YT? I also think peertube is the true freedom, though, I was surprised how quick videos load on odysee
I bet you’d like filebrowser. Cleaner interface while being minimal as http.server

still better than Mr.Beast, I guess
Tmux is for when you want to keep the state of a shell on a remote server, I guess.
Time to buy some cheap Win11 unsupported PCs I guess? I just needed one for my home server and NAS
focusing on privacy
Rakuten is very privacy invasive imo
I found that on ripped.guide
I’ve tried using OnlyOffice before, but it failed to open an Excel file properly

No, we’re not. We’re just a group of people in a university, lol
well that’s concerning. They can be doing something shady under the hood…
mass grave of botnets maybe?
Interesting. I wonder why they don’t take it down immediately when they absolutely can
Oh, I use Debian as my daily driver, so don’t worry about that ;). In fact, that’s why I want to install Office on my clubhouse’s computer.
I managed to run Windows on KVM but it’s too slow and crashes occasionally, thus not very suitable for doing assignments.
I want Chrome to be sold, honestly.
I still can’t get why Linux Foundation helped Google out of that.
Same. Wezterm is good enough so far
Oh btw I ended up using Windows inside KVM. It worked without license, and office seems to work fine
You’re not wrong, but switching to Linux is considered better in this community than sticking with Windows, I guess.
I switched to Linux because I hate Microsoft’s monopoly, privacy invasion and their horrible operating system.
But to be honest, I kind of just wanted to do things differently.
I use debian cause it just works.
I was a Nix user (more specifically, nix-darwin user) but after being away from the computer for like one year (to study for the university entrance exam), I completely forgot how to use it and resulted in erasing the computer. Nix/NixOS is fun, but it was too complicated for me.
