I was wrong. Thank you. And I don’t have Trixie on the 32-bit Thinkpad, it was my other laptop.

Not all 32-bit systems are i386. For example, my 32-bit Debian thinkpad runs Trixie just fine. Because it’s i686 which is still supported.
So again, Debian 13 isn’t dropping 32-bit support. Just i586 support and below.
This is not true. (Edit: nevermind, I was wrong)
They’re dropping support for i586 and below. 32-bit systems with i686+ processors will still run fine.
Misleading title. Nothing leaked. You did didn’t bother to learn how your tools work. Binding qBittorrent to your VPN is something just about every guide will mention as being incredibly important.
Your post isn’t useful because you assume this is a problem others face instead of you being ignorant.
I also run an OS that doesn’t define my online personality ✌️😌
It seems like this schtick is demonstrably a part of your online personality.
Wild that you chose my exact distro + desktop combo (Fedora + XFCE). I love it but I wouldn’t expect others to in 2025. Nice pick dude.
How do you figure that Fedora is intimidating?
This is such a major issue for streaming. It’s why I had to stop using Gnome. Global hotkeys for OBS, Discord, etc are such a crucial part of it. It’s actually shocking to me how Linux has moved on without global hotkeys and nobody seems to care.
The Plasma solution is sweet, but I’m sticking to X11 until Wayland actually functions for streaming.
Wishing you luck. Linux is fun AF.
You misunderstood the article. I was being charitable.
We didn’t read the same article, clearly.
The main version is GNOME on many distros. Stop arguing and Google it for fuck’s sake
Nobody cares when someone tries to preemptively qualify incoming advice. It’s an open forum. Everyone will just ignore your criteria because you admittedly don’t know much about this. If you gave us a reason that didn’t vibe as “I think I know more than I do” I bet people would consider not chiming in.
What a normal person does is simple: just ignore the advice that they don’t value.
One time while streaming I had someone convince me to install zsh. Almost bricked the thing live. No clue what I was doing that day.
Read their reply. This is someone who already made their mind up without even testing it.
It looks like you have your mind made up and are looking for affirmation, not discussion. Next time, say that instead of being an ass to people trying to help you.
Why did I read all of this.
