You can use an already hosted instance, there is no need to selfhost every service.

My only hope is that Google goes bankrupt and people migrate to other places, but sadly that’s not feasible atm.

If your router is the one that your ISP provided, torrenting can affect your internet connection stability by having too many connections active, because most of the time that hardware is trash (at least from my experience).

Try to contact someone with edit permissions on the megathread wiki and provide proof of the malware to get that site removed from the list if you have time.
