You might be able to by connecting it to a pc and using console commands. I was able to do it with a cheap onn tv box.

People like to be on commitees to feel important. The issue becomes what their role should actually be. Unfortunately donors end up on commitees and part of the decision making process. They have their own motivations and incompetencies.
Maybe it was that i had to install the snap version (or maybe flatpak?) and uninstall theirs, which fixed the crashes. I thought it was a hardware issue for awhile because it was so random.
I swear it was the default already installed. Maybe I’m misremembering.
For awhile I was getting firefox crashes in Mint all the time. Turns out it was the snap version being unstable.
Brave has always seemed sketchy to me. Now they have a bunch of sketchy crypto, ai, and vpn stuff.
Windows 10 has a bug with 100% disk utilization that goes away if you have an ssd. You should look into upgrading the ram to 4 or 8 gb. ddr3 ram is dirt cheap on ebay. It would probably cost $10-$15 for 8gb and another $10 for a 120gb ssd.
I tried what they were talking about but could’t figure it out. I tried Mint and had the same issue, I reinstalled stock Ubuntu and it’s working again. The strange thing is that on Budgie and Mint it would show my second monitor, which was plugged into the gpu in display settings.
Also, i’m not sure who was downvoting you, but it wasn’t me.
03:00.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Intel Corporation DG2 [Arc A310] [8086:56a6] (rev 05)
0f:00.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Picasso/Raven 2 [Radeon Vega Series / Radeon Vega Mobile Series] [1002:15d8] (rev d8)
It does output the Budgie logo through the gpu for a split second while booting
That option isn’t available. In fact no video will output from the gpu until the os loads. It does output through stock Ubuntu.
Many people get their news and information from these platforms. This let’s them truly control what people see and think. They can block information about atrocities and feed people misinformation. They’re just doing it more now that they definitely won’t face any repercussions.
They probably have a team of people from the Heritage foundation making the list of banned topics.
That’s the companies decision and they should understand the risks.
If you’re that paranoid about it, then just physically destroy the drive.
They promised they would go out of business if I pirated their content, and that was a lie.
Just create aliases with words you’ll remember. Fart, Fart2, ect.
Anything made in the past 10-15 years still works great, I have a couple of really old thin clients that I bought for around $20 and dumped my pis when the prices were way up. One runs octoprint and the other one runs Lubuntu out in the garage so I can look up vehicle specs and other things while I’m out there. I have a fifth Gen Intel laptop that still works great. I have a desktop with a Ryzen 3000 series that works just fine both bought used for under $100. Raspberry pi is good for certain tasks, but using it for a desktop makes little sense. Even now I’m working this message on an Android phone that was around $100 with no issues.
CPU power hasn’t changed much, they’ve added more features over the years, but power hasn’t changed a lot, only Windows has gotten more bloated so you need more ram to run it.
You can also just buy a used laptop or business computer which is infinitely better and cheaper.
In the past people used tasker to charge at a certain threshold. Check with homeassistant people to see what they do.
