No I’m not using Kali for “hacking” I’m experimenting if I can play games on it and I guess my little experiment failed here, I never had a smooth experience with Debian before it always break itself when doing a system updates.

    Oh I don’t disagree with this at all, and also most of the comments, thus far, are quite helpful and constructive. That being said I was just trying to add some levity to what I otherwise see as needlessly defensive dog piling. (But tbf, downvotes don’t necessarily mean the same thing to everyone)

      It could be both, but often I see downvotes used strongly when information is actually incorrect or misleading, regardless of whether the person is trying to be pleasant or not. I guess that upvotes on a post like this could be mistaken for agreement. If the OP was instead phrased as a question it probably wouldn’t be downvoted.
