This should be helpful for people that learned Photoshop in the past (for work or in school). From what I understand, a lot of the friction with GIMP is the workflow differences, and potentially unintuitive UI/UX choices.

literally just a few minutes ago i tried to edit an icon in gimp to make a red line. problem 1: it couldn’t make red color…or any other colors either except the one that the icon had. problem 2: how the heck do you even make a line? so instead of watching a tutorial on how to make a FFFFUUUUCKING LINE, I succeeded with pinta in 3 seconds.
